Filming tips: Rugby
- Film from the side, level with halfway, as high as you can: a stand, a bank or a 2 m+ tripod.
- Landscape on the widest lens (0.5x), both try lines in frame if possible. No zoom.
- Phone on a tripod or fence clamp, never handheld, 720p or better (1080p is ideal).
- Plug in a power bank: a full match with half-time is 90 minutes or more.
Minimum 720p, steady, landscape. 1080p is ideal.

Questions
Do I get sport stats like goals or tries?
Not yet. Outside basketball the beta is a movement package: tracking video, teams by shirt colour, heatmaps, distance and sprint estimates and highlight moments. Sport stats come later, sport by sport.
Who is the beta for?
Adult teams: players, captains and coaches of adult clubs and leagues. Every player you film must be 18 or over and agree to being filmed.
How accurate are the distances?
They are estimates from one phone, good for comparing players and games, not for medical or contract decisions.
Who sees my video?
Only you and the Reelstat team. We never publish your game or clips without asking you first.
What if the video does not work?
If the field of play is not visible enough to track, we tell you what to change for the next game.
