Cookie policy
Which cookies we use and how to change your choice.
Last updated: October 26, 2026
The short version
When you first visit reelstat.com we set nothing and store nothing for analytics. A banner asks you to accept or reject analytics; both buttons are equal. Rejecting changes nothing about how the site works.
What we use
- Strictly necessary: if you sign in, the app keeps your sign-in session in your browser's local storage, and remembers your age answers for a few minutes during sign-in. These are needed to provide the service you asked for, so they do not need consent.
- Your cookie choice: we remember your choice (accepted or rejected) in your browser's local storage.
- Analytics (only after you accept): PostHog, hosted in the EU, sets a cookie and local storage entry with a random identifier. We use it to count visits and see which pages and buttons are used. It does not record the screen, and we do not put names or children's data in it.
- Before you choose, or if you reject, analytics runs without cookies or local storage, so no identifier stays on your device. We also respect your browser's Do Not Track setting.
What we do not use
No advertising cookies, no social media pixels, no cross-site tracking, and no analytics for under-18 accounts.
Change your choice
Use the "Change cookie settings" button on this page or in the footer at any time. Withdrawing consent stops analytics cookies from then on and removes the identifier we stored.
