How to film a padel match with a phone
Padel stats are coming to Reelstat. This guide works today with any camera app, and your footage will be ready when we are.
Where to put the phone.
Behind the back glass, centred.
How high.
Two to three metres up.
Framing.
Landscape. The whole court, including both back walls.
Settings.
Do Not Disturb on. Screen brightness down to save battery. Plug in a power bank. Keep about 5 GB free. Close other apps.
During the game.
Do not move the tripod and do not zoom. If someone stands in front, ask them kindly to move.
Common mistakes.
- Filming in portrait. The playing area does not fit.
- Reflections on dirty glass. Clean the glass first.
- Filming from the side. The net hides the far player.
After the game.
Stop recording and keep the video. Your footage will be ready when we are.
